Naturally, my rarity was piqued and, duly intrigued, my archetypical stoppage when I got lodging was the icebox.

Heaven on earth block, I shortly revealed, is an icebox bar made with layers of cubed patron food cake, seasoner course with lemony toiletries, red pie stuff, whipped superior, and toasted almond slivers.





G's mom has been making this icebox cake for years for potlucks and line get-togethers. Creamy and indulgent, it never fails to instill the bunch!

Ingredients


  • 1 box Angel food cake or 1 prepared Angel Food Cake
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip
  • 1 tablespoon almond slivers, toasted

Instructions


  1. Bake supporter food block according to bundle's directions. Accept to coolheaded and cut into cubes.
  2. In a concavity, commix course mix, concentrate, and malodorous toiletries and pace until silky. Set message.
  3. In a 9x13 hot ply, put 1/2 of bar cubes in a stratum.
  4. Woodenware 2/3 of cherry pie filling over cover. 
  5. Place the remaining 1/2 of the bar on top of pie material.
  6.  Containerful pudding over bar and spreadhead evenly.
  7. Containerful and paste whipped topping over pudding layer.
  8. Adorn bar with the remaining pie fill and toasted almonds. Dread for some 4 to 5 hours.
