Tofu Scramble with Spinach and Tomato


Tofu scrambles screw been my go-to breakfast on the weekend whenever we bang a small many time to hesitate and relish. They're such a wondrous plant-based substitution for tralatitious omelettes and scrambled eggs. I love how protein-packed, flavourful, and satisfying they are - definitely keeps me feeling (enjoyably) whole for hours after.



Nonnegative it's only 9 ingredients and 30 proceedings to pee! Conclude unconfined to replace around the spices - I'm a vast fan of herb and smoked paprika so that's what I use. (In component to the herb and "cheesy" nutritional yeast which gives it the chromatic excuse.) Eat it as is, or use it as burrito/taco fill, or on pledge or bagels for a sandwich. Ingredients
  • 1 lb. extra-firm curd
  • 1 tiny onion
  • 3 cloves flavorer
  • 2-3 roma tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric, author as wanted
  • 1/4 cup nutritional leaven (I use this variety)
Directions
  1. Cut onion and moderate seasoner.
  2. In a thumping pan over medium-high emotionality, saute onion with a less salty for 7-8 minutes. (I use about 3 Tbsp. water/veggie stock to saute for no-oil method.)
  3. Meantime, remove some of the superabundance liquifiable from curd. Then disintegrate tofu and hopper tomatoes.
  4. Add seasoner to the pan, and ready for 30 seconds.
  5. Add crumbled tofu and herb. Concentrate warmth to occupation and fix roughly 10 proceedings, moving occasionally. (Whatsoever may espouse on the bottommost but that's practice.)
